Future plans

To ensure food security, market system linkages, product diversification, safe and quality production systems will be promoted. Livestock-poultry disease control, surveillance, improvement of quality of medical care and disease detection activities will be strengthened. Artificial insemination technology will continue to expand to increase milk and meat production. For the development of animal nutrition, expansion of improved varieties of grass cultivation, expansion of food processing technology, introduction of TMR technology, expansion of grass market and quality assurance of fodder will be strengthened. The coverage of mobile court will be increased to follow the laws, rules and policies related to livestock along with training and yard meeting activities to increase the capacity of farmers.
