o Major achievements in recent years (3 years) (FY 2019-20, 2020-21 & 2021-2022) Conservation of existing livestock in the context of Bangladesh's transition to LDC status and increasing production and productivity to meet the growing population's demand for animal meat (milk, eggs and meat), Niamatpur, Naogaon have made remarkable progress in the field of extension and breed development.


 In recent financial years, 8330, 9710 and 9460 cows and heifers respectively have been brought under artificial breeding for cattle breeding. The number of hybrid calves produced are 3103, 3568 and 3712 respectively.


 3.79, 4.43 and 0.498 lakh cattle I poultry have been vaccinated and 1.91, and 2.56 and 4.71 lakh cattle-poultry have been treated respectively for conservation and expansion of existing livestock.


 Training of 535, 510 and 535 farmers in 34, 50 and 55 yards respectively for capacity building of farmers, development of farm management and farm expansion.


The meeting was conducted.


 Inspection of 125, 158 and 144 farms/feedmills/hatcheries, 40, 30 and 60 meat processors (butchers) respectively for production of safe and quality animal meat.
